1. Mullinagar Mansion :
Constructed in 1825 by an Irishman commander of the first Sirmoor Battalion Captain young. After his service he left for the Ireland but Many people till now have stated that they have witnessed a man riding horse on the grounds of the mansion.
It is believed that the soul of the Captain Young still roams in the mansion as he was so much attached to the mansion.

2. Sister’s Bazaar:
There is an isolated mansion in Sister’s Bazaar over mountains.
This haunted house was the parts of a colonial bungalow. The place is still visited by trekkers and people looking for party spots because of the beauty of the trail. But no single person dares to go to this place after moonrise.

3. Lohaghat – Mukti Kothari
Lohaghat is situated in the champawat district of uttarkhand. This place has the most terrifying places and story.
It is said that the bungalow on the mount abott, Abbey bungalow is haunted because of its haunting past. This Bungalow was built by a british family later donated to a hospital.
A new doctor joined who claimed to predict the death of the patients and to the surprise the patients started dying on the same day.
It is said that the Doctor used to have a secret chamber called “mukti Kothari” where he would take the patients and kill them to prove his prophecies right.
It is said that ghost of the patients still roam in the hospital.

4. Pari tibba [Infamous hill of fairies]:
If you are a Ruskin bond book lover than you many have heard about this spooky place. This place is one of the most popular haunted place in Uttarakhand. Lightning strike often strikes in this place as a result one can witness many half burnt trees on the hill.
It is said that two lovers were died because of lightning strike in this place. Since than their soul is wandering in these hills,

5. Savoy hotel:
Mussorie has some of the most haunted places of India. Apart from its gorgeous hills and greens It has some haunted locations included.
A gothic style hotel built in 1902, Visited by the most elite of that time.
One day a nurse Madam frances garnett Orme, a British spiritualist came to the hotel in 1911. She was found dead in her locked room, She was poisoned by a poisonous powder.
The doctor who performed her post-mortem also found dead due to the same poison years later. The case was unsolved because of this and It is said that the Soul of that nurse still wanders in the lobby and the rooms of the hotel.
People have heard eerie noises along with continuous banging on doors. It is said that the Nurse ghost still looks for the killer.

6. Lambi Dehar Mines – Mine of death
Last but not least Lambi dehar has one of the most frightening past in Mussorie.
Many people trek to this haunted place in the daylight some thrill seekers also visit in the night to experience the paranormal.
In the early 90,s thousands of workers died because of the faulty mining practices. Because of this the mines were shut down and abandoned.
It is believed that a witch also roam near the mines in the night.
Locals have heard the cries and wailing at night, believed to be of the dead.
Many accidents and a helicopter crash added belief that this place is haunted.
